I know, I know, I have been a VERY bad blogger. But, I have an excuse! A good one! If you happen to follow along with my shenanigans on Facebook or Twitter, you have probably already heard that for the last three months I have been busy growing a human and trying to keep my lunch down. It's been a crazy first trimester, but I am happy to say we have rounded the corner into trimester two and Capt'n Bojangles has been treating me a little better and I am no longer relying on peaches and string cheese for 90% of my daily caloric intake. Yay, Food!
I am sure I will be talking more about this in the coming months, but for now I will leave you with our latest photograph of the Capt'n. S/he seems to be growing all the right appendages and having a good time just wiggling away in there. Andy and I are very excited for February 5th(ish) to roll around so we can meet him or her! All this waiting is killing me.
I love that you can see one of his/her little eyes. I like to imagine s/he is winking at us :).
Very exciting! Baker's birthday is February 7th. No WPPI for you this year! Such is the life of being a wedding photographer who also wants to have children : ) Hopefully I will see you next year : )
There is nothing like watching the forecast dip from mid-eighties to low-fifties with 40MPH winds just in time for your May wedding day, but Christine and Brenden took it all in stride. After spending a little time with them it became clear: this is just their way. Slowed down, easy going, sweet and simple. I loved watching their wedding day unfold surrounded by so much friendship and love. It was an absolute honor to be a tiny little part of their celebration.
